Study Shows Big-Screen Plasmas Being Overtaken by LCD

The first quarter of 2009 saw big screen LCD sales surpass big screen plasma sales for the first time in history. The report from Quixel Research shows that revenue for the LCD market grew by 55% quarter-to-quarter and 200% year-to-year, while plasma dropped 12% quarter-to-quarter and 20% year-to-year.
